Awards Presentation Day 2024

On 13 Jul 2024, Hwa Chong Institution's Cheng Yi Auditorium was abuzz with excitement as we celebrated the remarkable achievements of the Class of 2023!

Our Guest-of-Honour, Mr. Kho Choon Keng, President of the Singapore Chinese Chamber of Commerce & Industry, delivered an inspiring speech, encouraging graduates to "Work hard, Have Fun, and Learn more." He highlighted the importance of lifelong learning, resilience, and upholding Hwa Chong’s values of integrity, compassion, and responsibility. He encouraged the graduates to cherish their relationships, remember their roots, and forge their own paths with passion and purpose.

Awards were presented by esteemed guests including Mr. Chua Aik Boon, Mr. Chia Min Chong, Dr. Loh Poey Ling, Dr. Sia Nam Chie, and Mr. Kho. The event concluded with a heartfelt valediction by Mr. Tok Jun Yi Alaric, President of the 49th Students’ Council.

The day ended on a sweet note with a tea reception, where awardees and guests mingled with VIPs and staff.
