AW, SSSC & MSSM International Track and Field Meet

10 HCI boys represented Singapore Combined Schools at the recently concluded AW/SSSC/MSSM International Track and Field Meet, held in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, from 14 to 15 Jul 2024.

Our students managed to return with a medal haul of 3 gold, 1 silver and 3 bronze medals.

The medal winners are:

Lee Yu Foong (3P2) - U15 Discus (Gold), U15 Shot Put (Gold)

Lucas Tang (2I3) - U14 Discus (Gold)

Chew Jinze (2P3) - U14 4x400m Relay (Silver)

Soh Shao Ming (3P1) - U15 High Jump (Bronze)

Jonathan Philip Hoare (3P2) - U15 100m (Bronze)

Liu Haoyue (2I4) - U14 1500m (Bronze)

The other students who represented Singapore Combined Schools are:

Wesley Zhao (2O2) - U14 1500m Race Walk

Kendric Kong (2O1) - U14 1500m Race Walk

Kaai Chan (3P2) - U15 High Jump

Ethan Lee (2I1) - U14 High Jump

Lee Yu Foong was also named the Under 15 Overall Best Performing Athlete from the Singapore Team, thanks to his outstanding performance, winning two gold medals in the Shot Put and Discus events.

Great job, boys, for making Singapore and Hwa Chong proud!
