Mid Autumn Festival 2024

On 7 Sep 2024, we celebrated our eagerly awaited annual Mid Autumn Festival (MAF). This year's festivities truly embodied the spirit of reunion, bringing together alumni, current students, and staff in a joyous celebration.

The concert was a dazzling display of talent, featuring a vibrant array of performances. The Hwa Chong Chinese Orchestra mesmerized the audience with their masterful performance. Dynamic Wushu demonstrations exhibited both the grace and strength of this martial art, while the elegant Chinese Dance performances beautifully conveyed the richness of cultural heritage through expressive choreography. WeYoung delivered an engaging and energetic performance, resonating deeply with the crowd. The String Ensemble concluded the evening with their captivating melodies, leaving a lasting impression. Each act contributed to a rich tapestry of entertainment, celebrating the spirit and creativity of our Hwa Chong community.

A highlight of the event was the crowd-favorite SODACHE session, which brought an infectious energy to the audience. Participants eagerly joined in, singing and cheering along to familiar tunes, creating a vibrant and lively atmosphere. This interactive element not only showcased the school's spirited community but also added a sense of unity and joy, making it one of the most memorable moments of the celebration.

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to Hwa Chong Junior College Alumni (HCJCA), Hwa Chong Alumni Association (HCAA), as well as the Parents’ Support Group (PSG) for the delectable food, exciting activities and exclusive souvenirs.
