Hwa Chongians Embark on National Education Learning Journeys

In a bid to not only provide students with greater affective and experiential engagement but also to facilitate class bonding, C1 students embarked on their NE Learning Journeys (LJ) on the last day of term 1. 

There were a total of 14 different LJ tours that were curated based on their alignment to the themes of Diversity, Sustainability and Total Defence.

The LJs enabled our Hwa Chongians to connect with others, explore places and get an authentic opportunity to explore perspectives on contemporary issues and public policies such as religious extremism, urban planning, food waste and insecurity.

After the LJ tours, students reflected on their learning using the 'See, Think, Wonder' framework to explore the respective themes in greater depth.
